Lets go... Go to OU and lets get on with it. I want to pencil you into the lineup already.

That's why he's taken his time. He went to KU under the promise where he would be more of a PG type player, not a shooter, and ended up playing a shooting role.

This time, he's trying to make sure he doesn't get BS'd again, and makes the right decision. Decision will come soon, but it makes sense why it's taken him so long.

Also, for those talking about how OU recruited him the last time, realize that it's not the same OU. OU has a new coach, had to make a new relationship, etc.

Obviously a new dynamic there.

Of course they are. UK will be more of the same as what he saw at KU. Lots of mouths to feed, and he would be stepping into a dumpster fire.

Gonzaga would be a great scenario for him, but they do not have a 1 on 1 style offense. That offense runs through the bigs as well, especially with Timme back and Holmgren coming in.

Big shocker... probably some more zoom meetings upcoming.

Porter.... don't beg. Give him until midnight tonight to declare his loyalty to OU, or tell him never to contact you again.

Regarding OU, the decision has been made. He's waiting for network television windows to open and a check to clear the bank.

You’re joking, right?

Did you make demands like that when you asked your wife to marry you? Don’t forget, I know your beautiful wife.

If it took weeks for my wife to decide if she wanted to marry me, that would be a huge red flag

Once bitten, twice shy -- he got burned (in his view, at least) on his first "marriage," so he's more like a divorcee who has resolved they won't rush into marriage again.

If my potential wife was choosing between 5 guys, that would be another red flag.

On the other hand, if you married your wife only 2 weeks after she divorced another person, and by only talking through zoom for 2 weeks, that’d be another red flag.

I think we all agree comparing college recruiting to marriage is a red flag and dumb.

Well then you'll either live happily ever after or it will never live up to expectations.

Better to get it right this time around vs hitting the portal again next year...

It's all about the hook up, so it's necessary to take charge of your life, as opposed to running afoul. Happy courting and find the zone of happiness painted with peace and rimming with passion.

Agreed. He could have gone to UNC the first time around. Chose to stay close to home. I think he'll do the same again. Strong family connection there.
