I don’t understand Phipps’ shot. It looks like the slowest, weirdest wind-up in history, that he can only get off if he’s wide open.

Intentionally ran into Culver and hit him with a forearm while he was running up the court and then flopped like he got shot. Total punk move and he will be lucky if he doesn’t get his head taken off later driving to the basket.

I realize that WV isn't exactly an offensive juggernaut, but this is the kind of intensity this team needs to bring on the defensive end every night. If they are able to bottle this up and take it with them, we will be ok this season.

Agreed. Our team defense and Mo Gibson have been the difference in the first half.

Great half! Manek and Reaves only combined 3-10 and still up 18. Credit to our defense, especially the bench unit with Kuath and Harkless being very active. Combined with Mo feeling it from 3, another game with big contributions from the bench.

Zero excuse to lose this game now with this big a lead. Can't waste another opportunity like we did against Tech. Keep up the intensity on defense to keep getting these runouts and we should be just fine!
