If Trae can keep getting to the FF line like he is the hawks will be very very good.

This should tell you all you need to know about Grayson Allen.
Foul incidents[edit]
Allen received national attention during his sophomore season at Duke following an incident during a game against Louisville Cardinals. On February 8, 2016, Allen was assessed a flagrant-one foul after he tripped Louisville forward Ray Spalding. Commentators said the move appeared to be intentional, as Allen stuck out his leg while on the ground as Spalding was hopping over him.[21][22]
In the second game against Louisville that season, he exchanged elbows while scuffling for a ball on the ground and later received a technical foul and ejection for yelling at a referee following his fifth foul on a charge call.[23] On February 25, in the closing seconds of a 15-point win against Florida State, Allen tripped opposing guard Xavier Rathan-Mayes.[24] A day later, Allen received a reprimand from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) for his second tripping incident in less than a month.[citation needed]
Prior to the start of the 2016–17 season, Allen stated that he was ready to put the tripping incidents behind him.[25] However, on December 21, he tripped Elon's Steven Santa Ana and was charged with a technical foul.[26][27] The next day, Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski suspended Allen from the team indefinitely and subsequently stripped him of his team captaincy after Duke's game on December 31.[28][29] Allen returned to play on January 4, 2017, after being suspended for one game.[30]
On March 9, 2018, Allen was assessed a flagrant-one foul in the ACC Tournament for tripping North Carolina's Garrison Brooks with what was called a "hip check."[31]
On July 11, 2019, Allen was ejected from an NBA Summer League game between the Boston Celtics and the Memphis Grizzlies after committing back to back flagrant fouls that were called on television as "cheap shots" reacting to a "simple back screen", causing the announcers to criticize his reputation for dirty play on television and call for his removal from the game.[32]

Re: NBA- OU players and general (this thread only)
Hawks did a great job of bringing in veteran players who have been known to play hard & play defense. I’m sure they did this to help (Reddish/Hunter) & force (Young/Collins/Huerter) the younger players to play that way.

Trae is quickly closing the gap on the perception of the trade for luka

Make sure you include Cam Reddish along with Trae. It was not a straight-up trade.

Re: NBA- OU players and general (this thread only)
Not sure if anyone has watched Blake much this year, but man he's not the same dude. He legit just sets picks and shoots 3s now. Doesn't rebound, doesn't attack the rim, not creating for his teammates as well either.
Now I know he hasn't had much of an offseason with the team, he suffered a concussion I believe already this season and his team is flat out brutal. The PG Hayes looks pretty solid(hurt now) and Jerami Grant has been great, but the Pistons 1-7 clearly are trying to tank. Hopefully they can or will move Rose and Griffin.
Griffin averages: 15pt, 5reb , 3.5 assist. Shooting upper 30pct from 3pt range.

Last night was a nightmare game for all three NBA Sooners. However, it's rough watching Blake now. What is he, 31-32 years old? He's been moving like someone 10 years older. I hope it gets better for him.

Re: NBA- OU players and general (this thread only)
Buddy came up big late in a tight battle with the Pacers last night. In the final three minutes, he had two three-pointers and three rebounds (I thought he had a block too, but it's not showing up in the stats this morning). Overall, he had 18 points, four rebounds, three assists and a steal.
In an 18-point win over the 76ers, Trae had 26 points, 8 assists, 3 rebounds and a steal.

Re: NBA- OU players and general (this thread only)
Another nightmare game for our NBA Sooners.
Somebody has to ask it, so it may as well be me. How long before Haliburton replaces Buddy in the starting lineup? After Buddy's third year in the League, I was really hopeful he would at least maintain that level of play...but has badly regressed. He's only in his fifth year, but is already 28 years old...so don't know how much better he will get. Anyway, I'll continue to cheer hard for one of my favorite all-time Sooners and hope he can turn things around. We'd all love to see the "third-season Buddy" again.

Re: NBA- OU players and general (this thread only)
It's sad to see how bad Blake is now. I think he's gotta retire or just become a bench player after this year. He just has no knees and a guy that was built on explosive athleticism just has none of it anymore.
Young had a decent game in a win today. 20 points 13 assists.
