You see Texas Tech holding out Shannon? Waiting on a ruling on his eligibility. NBA draft process stuff.

Are we positive OSU didn't cancel the season? Are they able to compete with the injustice that has been handed down to them?

you're gonna upset the board as half here cant help but take up for little brother when osu people literally would lead the charge to getting ou basketball in trouble if they could and would be absolutely giddy over it

Everything went as expected. KU had a battle with MSU for about 30 minutes but pulled away late. I was surprised that OSU beat the brakes off of UTA considering how bad they were against UCO last week. Maybe UTA just isn’t very good.

Maybe an admin could change the title of this thread and it could be a general Big 12 conference games thread?

The Big 12 teams had an easy time of it tonight except the aggies of stillwater, who lost to Oakland by a point.

The twins are back, but last year’s starter, Khalid, is injured.

Keylan came off of the bench and scored 2 points. According to the box score, Bryce Thompson also came off of the bench, played 31 minutes and scored 12 points.

Anybody know what’s up with that?

I wasn’t one of them, and you can bet BT wasn’t either. He went to OSU believing he would be the next Cade Cunningham. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Boynton told him that to get his signature.

he might have told him that .. but they are not close to the same level of player ..... BT may very well turn into an NBA player one day but he needs to get much much stronger to play well at this level .. much less in the NBA

They were picked ahead of us in the preseason league poll. I'm sure they expected to be a Final Four caliber team.

OSU beat winless Prairie View A&M 72-59. Bryce Thompson starts, scores 2 points and has 1 rebound in 22 minutes. Both Boone twins play but come off of the bench.

Told you all OSU would take a massive drop this year. Cunningham made them all look better last year, coach included.

OU and OSU were not separated by much last year and losing the top pick in the draft will obviously hurt them. That said, it seems a tad premature for people to act like the first week of the season means they will be terrible. I know message boards are not the place for subtlety or nuance, but maybe we should give it a while to play out.

I'm the last one to ever defend oswho, but they were still competitive while Cunningham was out of action last season.

It seems like they've got the same story we do this year: they will defend well. Can they score consistently and rebound against athletic teams or teams with size...

I expect OU will pass them for 5th in the Big 12.
