If you look at overall +/- for the season, look who is near the top.

So we get +/- for individual games but the 3 game sample size is too small? It's a dumb misleading stat and I'll die on that hill.

i would say that it can be useless for a single game and is much better gauge over a season of games ..

however depending on context it can show things in a single game ..

like ISU OU barely lost and Grant was -17 he was terrible in that game
