I hope OU lands Fatts Russell. Him and Harmon in the backcourt next year would be tough for opposing teams. Undersized but reminds me of when KU had Devonte Graham and Frank Mason. He was on the Rhode Island team that knocked us out of the tournament a few years ago when we had Trae.

Minn Guard Marcus Carr is in portal.. JR. that averaged 19ppg. I think we need one wing and one big for sure... Two bigs would be great though. I asked a week ago about Kuath from Hutch Juco.. 6'7 4 man that's athletic maybe more skilled than his brother.

Agreed. Go back a few posts and youíll see I was asking why we had an interest in a 5í 11Ē point guard? I still donít know, but Iím guessing our coaches think weíll need another point guard. Does that mean DeVion may not be coming back? I donít have a clue. I can only assume our coaches have a valid reason.

I also made it clear in that post, a quality big should be our number one objective.

Agreed, quality big is number one priority. Devion took a big leap this year when he was moved off-ball and turned into the secondary ball-handler/playmaker, so maybe the coaching staff wants to continue that for him.

The list of teams that has reached out to Fatts is impressive so far -

I don't have much interest in Russell. We don't need somebody that size that just shot 34% from the field, and 24% from three. At that height, he better be able to shoot the 3 ball if he hopes to have success in a big boy conference.

We need another ball handler, I think thatís why they would have interest in him or someone else who can fill that role. As of now, Harkless would be our primary ball handler with Harmon off the court. I wouldnít feel good about that over an entire season.

Never know who could be a pg next year. Lon has had great success making pg.

Early in the year I thought he was going to bounce. I think he knows keys are his now.

If we had any doubts as to whether Reaves was planning to stay or not, I think this probably answers that. Still could change his mind, but he appears to be gonzo.

Manek and Williams will be interesting. Honestly, I don't mind if Williams leaves. He hasn't really developed in his time here.

Walker Kessler is a big that just entered the transfer portal from UNC. 5 star freshman out of high school, 7'1 245lbs. Will probably have a lot of teams after him, so a longshot for OU.

Very doubtful that Alondes is back. I would love the 6’6” kid from ORU! Hopefully he doesn’t transfer but he is a player

Obanor? He is listed at 6'8. Would LOVE to have him manning the 4 for us next year, but like you, kind of hope he doesn't transfer out of ORU.

Yeah he will have a long list of suitors, whoever gets him will be getting a potential gem.

One of my good friends is a UNC fanatic. Even though Kessler was a freshman, he was considered a disappointment. He didn't see the floor much until the latter half of the season. I think the potential is there for him in the right system. But he wasn't athletic enough to get minutes in Roy's style of play (basically Rec ball). If he lands more in a half-court system, he could utilize his passing and vision skills.

Or he doesnít want him To leave ORU. There is something to be said for a kid like that sticking it out at the school that gave him a chance

PORTAL: Valparaiso F Jacob Ognacevic (FR) has entered. https://t.co/pquypcFzk0

This guy would be a good fit... 6'8''... Shoots 50% from 3. Averaged 6 per game as a true freshman. Highly skilled. Just needs to develop.

I like the Dimon Carrigan guy from Florida international too.

“I doubt that he comes back,” Reaves’ dad, Brian Reaves, told The Daily on his drive back from Indianapolis after the game.

Again, just in case there was any doubt.

agree, love Harkless's dog mentality...but his "handles" haven't been the best. The last few games he's turned it over a few times.
