this is coming a bit late, but Kelbie apparently had a concussion that led to seizures on account of the bright lights from the arena, so she redshirted. I hope she recovers and is able to have a great next three years for us...I believe she has talent and potential to be a really good one for us, she just simply needs to play within herself and not rush so much!

I agree, SG06. Kelbie is, indeed, a talented player. She showed it at times her freshman year, but stunk it up a bit at others – as freshmen are prone to do.

If she recovers from the injury, she will be a wiser and more mature player next season.

Tons of talent and potential in my opinion. But, wasted talent and potential are one of the world's most plentiful commodities. Let's hope she develops and reaches her potential. You just never know with kids. Takes such a singular focus that most either don't have or can't find the persistence to have, what with all the other things to do in college, such as boys, electronics, school and desire for free time. At her best, nobody can stay in front of her when she is dribbling. Fun to watch.

Based on her Tiktok content, she has really struggled with her mental health while being forced to take a break from basketball. Seizures are terrifying, and I really hope she is able to get back to herself again soon.

So what about Kaley Perkins- she got quite a bit of playing time last year, why reshirting this year? Did Joens take her spot? I thought last year she was a good spot up shooter

From what I remember, she was injured early in the year and by the time she recovered, they decided they didn't want to waste a year of her eligibility.

Perkins has entered the portal. Not sure why, although I hope it's because she sees the riding on the wall with more athletic and talented players coming in. Not a dig at her. I hope she does well wherever she ends up!
