Offensive rebounds crazy stats for TSU 41 in 2 games. one of the keys to the game

positives- our pace. geting to the "battle line" within 5 seconds
bench is pleasing, really good bench guys, no slippage. 2nd shift starters.

where we can get better
defense has to be our identity. We have a high ceiling. slippage in the the scrimmages for whatever reason. we addressed it. played to our standards.

soares- "waldo" 6th leading scorer... but important! energy goes up with the 2nd shift when he comes in.

milos- do not worry about him. leader! 5 hockey assists last game. zero worries. 5 assists no TO's last game coach thought. so prepared every game


Moore/cooper- both practiced the last 2 days. They are a go.

It's in San Marcos....about 30 miles south of Austin on I-35.

I looked at Texas State on Kenpom. They are #3 in the county in offensive rebounding %.....but otherwise, they are really bad on offense in multiple categories (shooting, turnovers, FT%). They are pretty decent on defense, but they do foul a lot thus far.

The more I watch this team the more hope I get. I realize we haven’t play great competition yet but still easy to recognize some deeper talent than we’ve had in several years. And if we had a rim protector I would already be very optimistic.
