OU vs Buffalo 6:30 11/21
OU plays Buffalo tonight at 6:30. Buffalo lost to South Carolina 88-60. Buffalo is a good MAC team…so this is a game we should win but we need to play well as they are capable of beating us.
TV is again on Flohoops for $$$. |

Buffalo up 17-15 after Q1. Sounds like an ugly grind it out poor shooting quarter for both teams.

OU up 45-33 at half. Really good run last 5 minutes of the half as we got into rhythm on offense. Taylor with 12 and Madi with 11. Taylor with 4 assists.

Hot start to Q3 to bump OU lead to 56-39. 2 more 3s from Taylor and a 3 from Ana to force Buffalo to call a timeout. About 7 minutes left in Q3.

Lead up to 62-41 at 5 minute timeout. In last 5 of Q2 and first 5 of Q3 we increased our lead from 3 to 21. When we are hot from 3 we are a difficult team to play.

OU wins 93-72. Taylor 27 on 9-23 from 3. Madi 19 and 12 rebounds. Ana 16 points and Vann with 12 off the bench

A nice stat from the game Jennie liked 29 assists on 36 made baskets…also assist to turnover ratio of 29:12

Thought we would win but not by this much.
Teams are going to have to control Taylor to beat us. When she gets going opponents leads melt away quickly and OU leads are extended just as quick. And it does seem that we are much more effective getting her open for shots this year. Probably the pace of the game has something to do with that. Van continues to be a real asset coming off the bench. Held our own with them on the boards but they had just average size inside. Scott's minutes increase as Svboda's decrease. Temporary or just a trend. Personally I prefer Svboda to Lampkin. |
