Good player, good interviewer, but that was tough to get through. I appreciate the post though.

I don't blame Bijan -- he's what, 17? -- but the interviewer was pretty bad. Does one need to merely build a web site and buy an iphone to become a recruiting "guru" these days?

I've been a recruiting guru for a long time, and I don't even have a website.

It's the basis for much of media these days.

You’re a juco recruiting guru. Low budget coverage is to be expected.

The audio portion of the interview was fine. Bijan had a lot of good answers. He appeared to be nervous. Thus, the constant changing positions and flopping around like a fish out of water. I don’t blame him for that either. A little pre-interview coaching by the “expert” would have avoided that problem.

My post wasn’t meant to bash Bijan, he’s a teenager in a virtual interview.

Agree. Not a bash. Just wanted to share.

I didn't take it that way -- sorry if I gave that impression.

I didn’t think you were, but when I read my post again I saw it did look that way.

We understand and none of us viewed it as such.

Virtually nothing is required to be a professional journalist of any kind.
