That would be so great for the program!
What would lineup look like?
G. Harmon, Cortes
G. Gibson, Phipps
G. Hill, Alexander, Garang
F. Iwuakor, Collins, Garang
C. Issanza or ?

Bigs would be the concern. Iwuakor could probably play the 5 if we don't have a legit center and the start Collins or Garang at 4.

Good news.

Hopefully #TG3 works out better than #Serious3 in football.

I like Bijan more and more every day. Is he a better D1 prospect than Alexander?

Bijan reminds me of a typical under the radar Kruger recruit (like Manek, etc.). High 3-star to low 4-star, plays 4 years, improves each year, and capable of big games from time to time. I’ll allow it.

Agreed. Bijan is perfect for Lon Krugerís system and his coaching style.

I feel the same way about Trey Phipps. Like Bijan, he has a high basketball IQ and an obvious love for the game that motivates him to work hard at getting better. I love his quick release and his ability to score from any angle or position on the floor.

Most people donít see the makings of a future star when they look at his baby face. I see that and more. Itís okay with me if he flies under the radar until he proves what he can do at the next level.

Bijan is a high flyer and heís so athletic, I think he will continue to climb in the rankings nationally. I agree with those who say heís underrated. Itís going to be fun watching our two baby-faced kids put on a show someday!

What do you mean? The Serious3 football recruits, 2 of the 3 are committed and the 3rd will likely commit before end of summer. So...

As for TG3, itís very exciting for OU basketball. This would be huge.

Without hijacking the thread, it doesnít matter. Wheaton will be a Sooner and the offense will be unstoppable, as usual.

As for basketball... If we sign this class, it will be a huge boost to the program. If we can string together 2-3 classes like this it would change the whole program.

Colin Kennedy has a couple of updates on the 247 basketball board (he thinks Alexander is closer to committing to OU than Collins is, but he sees us as still in the running for Collins). He also mentions Kaluma and KJ Adams as players OU is in the mix for.
