Agreed. Don't think it makes much difference either way. I just doubt we can find many comparable walk-ons for basketball.

It's worth remembering that he'd already accepted a hoops offer at Washington State, which is no blue blood, of course, but it's in a Power 5 conference, and his offer obviously wasn't of the grab-a-warm-body-at-the-last-minute variety.

I think you may be thinking about NRK. Not that I think either would be just a warm body.

That wasnt Coleman, it was another OU football commit. Coleman had b-ball offers from Mcneese St & LTU (which is a solid program).

I think Coleman could help OU on the court his jr/sr year, but not with him splitting time in football which would be his main focus.
