Bob Stoops always liked to get to historic stadiums early on game day. When he was coaching the Sooners, Stoops would stroll off the team bus and walk on the grass while his team filtered into the locker room.

The only difference this time is we have a German on the roster who won't be playing but might have different feelings about the battle. However, I am sure he knows the history well.
