Up 49-37 at half. We played really well shot 58% including 7-12 from 3. Only 6 turnovers but gave up 9 offensive rebounds to SMU for the only negative. Key now is keep the intensity for the 2nd half.

We kept the intensity up in 2nd half and won 97-74. Ran our offense really well and shot 14-23 from 3 for the game. Only 10 turnovers for the game in our up tempo style was also impressive. Madi scored 25 and was very efficient on 10-14 shooting including 3 3s. Balanced scoring otherwise with Joens 13, Vann 12, Tot 12 and TRob 9. I thought Tot and Scott gave us a good combo at PG…Scott really solid and composed as a freshman PG and she spotted up for 2 nice 3s.
The thing to work on after this game is rebounding..we gave up 14 offensive rebounds and let them bully us some inside. Need to be more aggressive on the defensive glass. |

As an indication that SMU is decent they gave Baylor a difficult game only losing 58-55 in Waco.
