Cool McCasland Field House

Oklahoma should renovate McCasland and play their home basketball games there. It would be much better for a home court adavantage. At least we could come close to filling it up.

Would love to see it. I can’t stand the LNC and I’ve had season tickets for close to 20 years. Only issue is parking with the FieldHouse, particularly when school is in session.

At the rate this program is going, we’ll only need 300-400 seats for fans, if that.

I think LNC is a boat anchor for the program but it has great access to parking and the interstate. The field house is a non option.

They played some games there a few years ago. People didn't go to those games either.

Had a tech fan ask where our student section was on Saturday. She asked why they don't come to games. I just shrugged.

Nah. It would be embarrassing to play our games there, renovated or not.

This would only be considered if Oklahoma men's and women's basketball programs became non-competitive in the Big-12 Conference.

Oh.

A 10k arena on campus would be a big help.

That number is dropping like a rock!!!!! I do not believe they have more than 5K in season tickets sold now and the women is 2K and dropping.

They could sell it out a few times a season then!

They can still sell 8-9k tickets. They always “sell” the tickets but only half show up. So, McCasland would easily house all the fans that actually show up to the games.
