UNLV had a great run under the chewing towel guy for about 5-7 years. Yes, they have 1 national title and they’re a good program. However, they are not better than OU and they’ve done nothing for 25 years. They miss the tourney far more than we do.

Happy for EJ. Hope he does well.

What are his offensive skills? Passing? Dribbling? Shooting? Are there other offensive skills I'm not aware of, because he ranges from below average to terrible at all three of those. Athletic -- meh. I recall multiple breakaways during his two seasons where he barely dunked. He isn't a bad athlete but I would consider him average at best for a major college wing.

Crap, I guess San Francisco is also a better program than OU. I guess kids in the portal should be flocking to the Bay Area.

are you even an OU fan? better yet, did you even research your statements?

Since that one championship UNLV had (congrats to them for winning it all one year) they have gone to the NCAA tournament a total of 9 times......NINE....with one Final Four appearance.

In that exact same time OU has 21 NCAA appearances and 2 Final Fours.

from UNLV's first season until their national championship season they had one more NCAA tournament appearance than OU. .....in the same time OU leads in NCAA tournament appearance 30-20.

So....where exactly is UNLV better? Plus that win % is against an inferior conference.

Guys, calm down... I am just defending Harkless from people who act like him going to UNLV is some kind of proof that he can't hack it, or wasn't good enough, etc.

Silly us for thinking that a player who is as good as you like to claim he is would end up at a middle of the pack team in a non P5 league. You’re right, though. Tark will have that squad in contention this season!!!
