3 on 3 - who you got
John Wall, Gilbert Arenas & Kirk Hinrich vs Mario Chalmers, Dwyane Wade & Carlos Arroyo.
I'm taking Wall-Arenas-Hinrich every time. It's not even close.
Feel free to match up any other 3 person back courts to find one better than the Wizards.

Re: 3 on 3 - who you got
Westbrook, Harden & Durant (I realize that this is sort of cheating)
Jason Kidd, Jason Terry & Roddy Buckets
D. Fish, Steve Blake & Kobe
CP3, Marcus Thornton & Darren Collison

Re: 3 on 3 - who you got
Great list bOK but like you said it would be Seph, not Durant.
And don't forget Rondo, Ray Allen & Nate Robinson
Point being the Heat are nothing to fear.
Of all the lists so far I'm going with Kobe Fisher Blake. But I think Wall Arenas Hinrich would win their share vs them.

Ellis, Curry, Boca.

That's brilliant. By manipulating which player's or positions we look at, we can make the Heat look bad and make the Wizards (from another thread) look good. A definite A for effort.
Disclaimer: I like the Wizards squad

Re: 3 on 3 - who you got
Are we just talking about PG's and SG combos?
MIL = Brandon Jennings, Michael Redd, John Salmons
DET = Rodney Stuckey, Ben Gordon, Rip Hamilton

Haha, yea, its kind of silly to try to compare the Heat to other teams and mention Carlos Arroyo instead of Lebron James, and not even mention Chris Bosh.

I'm going to make a 2 on 2 thread with PG/SF combos to illustrate that the Lakers are nothing to fear.

Re: 3 on 3 - who you got
All the smartass comments just validate my point. Wall-Arenas-Hinrich would smoke Wade-Chalmers-Orroyo. I'm not comparing teams, I'm comparing guards.
I'm not even getting into the gaping hole at center or the complete lack of talent on the second unit or the fact that Lebron's lack of guidance as a youth is rearing it's head. He has questionable work ethic. He cracks under pressure. He is hanging in Vegas Clubs like Antoine Walker and other scrubs. Lebron James is proving to be Michael Vick/Allen Iverson.
Lebron's team got this ESPN story pulled but not before somebody got a screen shot of it. link

You can take the wizards, I will take the Heat. We will see pretty soon who is better.

This is just a stupid comparison. What has he done that is illegal? Has he gotten in trouble with the league or gone to prison? Its also ironic that you are talking about James like this when there is a player on your dream team that pulled a gun on somebody and is clearly and idiot.

it was actually pulled b/c the author didn't reveal that he was a reporter and doing a story.

Everyone was in Las Vegas last week for Team USA practices, including players who aren't playing this summer as well as many others who didn't even have Team USA invitations, and they were all going out to clubs. Even Kevin Durant was going to clubs in Vegas, and no one is questioning his work ethic or character.
I've gotten tired of LeBron and lost a lot of respect for him recently, but you're going out on a limb with some of this stuff.

Re: 3 on 3 - who you got
Rondo popped off for good reason. He knows who the Heat have to match up with him and he knows they can't beat him.
He probably looked at the front court matchups and laughed at that too. Seriously. Perkins, KG, Glen Davis and Jermaine O'Neal vs Bosh, Big Z, Haslem & Magloire? Again we know who wins there easily.

Re: 3 on 3 - who you got
Smash, Lebron said he was taking his game to "South Beach", not the Miami Heat.
Ever been to South Beach? What do 25 year olds want to do on South Beach? Not too hard to figure out. We'll see how this plays out but there are very troubling signs.

Exactly. This is the same guy that literally put a scrub team on his back and carried them into the Finals in '07, and was the only player that showed up against Orlando last year. I think that more then proves he doesn't "crack under pressure". No doubt he cracked one time in Game 5 this year, but then again he didn't have any teammates that bailed him out. I'm going to preface this next statement by saying that Kobe's performance in Game 7 wasn't as bad as LeBron in Game 5, but Kobe had guys bailing him out (Gasol, Artest) when he had a putrid 6-24 performance. LeBron has never had that luxury.

You do realize that no one partied harder in Vegas/other casinos than Michael Jordan, don't you?
Point being, just because an individual choses to spend his free time in Vegas clubs doesn't automatically set one up for failure on the court.

I think it's fair to question LeBron's focus and to think that he's getting caught up in the glitz and glamour. While I've never seen anything that makes me think LeBron is lazy, I think it's becoming more clear that he doesn't have that singular focus on basketball that Kobe and Durant seem to have (and with Wade flanking him, it may not even be necessary for LeBron to push himself that hard). With that said, comparing him to Iverson is unfair because as off-putting as some of LeBron's behavior may be, he's never had the sort of off the court problems that AI had throughout his career, from high school onward.
I wouldn't mind seeing the Heat implode, but I'd be surprised if they're not winning 60-65 games ever year starting this season. Whether or not that translates to some championship rings remains to be seen.

Yeah, MJ got so much crap for spending all night in Atlantic City the night before a playoff game in New York.

Re: 3 on 3 - who you got
Jordan was in casinos gambling because he lived and breathed competition. He was not at Tao behind the ropes wearing sunglasses, with a cake of a Kings Crown, with paid dancers wearing his heat jersey, etc.
Lebron is acting the fool and the sad thing is he doesn't have a dad to slap him silly and tell him to stop acting like an ass. Look how fast Tiger fell when his dad passed away, then imagine Lebron who has never had any guidance in his entire life.

Given the fact that he had a very scandalous past due to cheating on his wife (multiple times), I would bet that he had other reasons to be in Vegas, Atlantic City, etc. besides soaking in the gambling competition.

Yeah, he said it on his Twitter account.
My friends and I had a good laugh at his expense because of that quote for awhile.
