This year had to be a difficult year for her mentally with the larynx breathing issue and the coaching change. Playing time next year would also be tight with everyone back at her position. I can understand why she wants a fresh start somewhere else. Best of luck to Gabby in the future…hopefully she regains her form from her first two years at OU and she will be a very good player for someone.

I think she would have stayed if Williams, Llanusa, and Robertson moved on. I did see a couple of Notre Dame players hit the portal. S Brunelle and Prohaska.

Brown has been a disapointment at OS. She is weak inside and not skilled enough to play away from the hoop. I don't see her helping us. Seems to play shorter than her size like Liz Scott.

NC I get your point on her not living up to her McDonalds AA credentials. But I have noticed over the years that Scott Rueck recruits a lot of top 50 talent that very often disappoints. I think he is a lot better at recruiting than the other aspects of coaching…particularly developing and motivating talented players.

It appears Tot, Tucker, Washington, Llanusa, Perkins, Vann, Madi, TRob, Svoboda and Scott will return plus she has Cooper, Johnson, Scott and Culliton coming in as freshmen for a total of 14 giving Jennie the ability to sign 1 scholarship players.
