Summer Practice Reports

Anyone getting to go to any of the summer practices or know one of the kids able to get us some info on the new guys, both portal and freshmen. Would love it. Thanks.

Here is what I am hoping:

Inside: As good as last year, if not a little better (hoping for improvement from Hill, and groves brothers, and godwin, Northweather and Yaya provide about the same level of backup play as last year.

Wing: Should be deeper and taller (hill, noland, Bamisile, all three freshmen)

Point: Should be deeper. Sherfield, Cortes and Uzan this year. Just had Goldwire last year, and then later could play Cortes.

Fitness is going to be the biggest issue coming into camp. Will he be able to get his level of fitness up before practice begins to contribute early.

Dang that’s a big blow. Seeing how he might have the highest expectations of all the freshmen.

Benny has plenty of time to get healthy and in decent condition w a meniscus. He isn’t expected to be a starter but by the end of the year he very well could be.
