Thatís a reach, even for you. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Harmonís tweet. He wants others to know Coach Crutch was important to him.

And, for those who believe Crutchfield leaving may cause DeíVion to rethink his commitment. Forget it! Coach Kruger has always been the center of his attention in every interview I have seen or read. Itís also common knowledge that Deívionís mother thinks LK hung the moon. Heís not going anywhere except Norman, Oklahoma this summer.

This made Sooner04 chuckle. The use of third person by De'Vion Harmon was the first thing Sooner04 noticed.

I think either would be good, no idea if they would be an upgrade over Crutchfield - I leave that to the hoops experts here - but on paper Williamson appears better.

Price has very little coaching experience. 2014 - Houston, Director of Player Development and 2013-14 Texas Legends, Assistant Coach NBA Developmental League

Williamson has more experience for sure - Washington State, Illinois State, Tulane, Wichita State, Texas A&M, SMU and TCU in addition to Memphis and Tulsa - where he was even the interim head coach for 20 games or so.

Lots of Texas experience, which would be a plus for him for sure.
There are few more in the running.

Did you notice the three times he used first person?

thebigabd did notice that. For the record, Sooner04 thought it was funny as well.

Grow a sense of humor and loosen up, skyvue.

Wasn't he just named HC in waiting as part of Kelvin's latest contract extension? Don't think he is going anywhere, except maybe as a HC. I think he'll be a good one though.

Texas Longhorns basketball assistant David Cason wonít return for a third season in Austin, as the program has decided not to renew his contract, according to a report from Texas Top 100 publisher Zach Mason.

The move comes after the ĎHorns lost 22 games in Smartís second season at Texas to tie the ignominious record for most losses in school history.

A native of Maryland who spent two years coaching with Smart at VCU after serving on the Vanderbilt coaching staff, Cason worked primarily with the guards, but saw sophomore Eric Davis, Jr. and Kerwin Roach, Jr. both fail to show the expected improvement.
Lon certainly knows how to set the ignominious record for most losses in school history.

Lol.

Cason got the guys there. The head ball coach gets the wins and losses.
Comparing Shaka and LK isn’t even close.

Shaka was wasted more talent than rest of the big 12 combined.

But carry on

Didn't he have a 12M buyout or something obnoxious like that this year?

But a month ago, if someone suggested Crutchfield would/should be the next head coach, I bet most people would have said that would be a disappointing move.

Pooh looks like the best one, of the names mentioned. So, naturally, I expect us to hire someone else, less desirable

I'm sure Joe C has a succession plan. He has to. And apparently it didn't include Crutchfield or he would still be here. He pressed the issue and Joe C said good luck elsewhere. So it seems Joe C thinks he can do better.
