Default Sort of OT: RIP to Denny Crum

I remember the December of '84 game when OU handled the Cardinals fairly easily. Those teams of his were usually very fun to watch, especially after the dunk was legalized again.

He was on a flight with me in the summer of '86 coming east out of the Bay Area. I struck up a brief conversation with him, and he was very gracious and complimentary of the OU team that had beaten his team the year before.

Only thing I really remember about him (other than he was successful) was he always seemed to be holding a rolled up piece of paper. I remember beating them in the regional semis (I guess sweet 16) in 88.
