The Bonnies aren't terrible, but not all that good either.....they do have a lot of older guys though. That being said, OSU looks similar to last year.....with a little more scoring and a lot less defense. From what I've seen around the league, I would put OSU around 9/10 in the Big 12.

We are only 3 to 4 games into the season, but by every available metric.....not only are we better than OSU, but noticeably better. For context (as of now), we would be about a 8.5 or 9 pt favorite against them at home.

And yes, we were picked lower in the conference, but you just don't know until the teams get out on the floor and get going.

Abmas (ORU transfer) hit a shot at the buzzer for Texas. But up to that point, he had a pretty poor shooting game.

Miami was up double-digits pretty much from the tip. The Canes looked pretty good from what little I saw.

Kansas got smoked, wire to wire. I loved that little skirmish between Shaka Smart and Mr. Toupee. I was glad to have been wrong several years back when I posted on here that S Smart was a home run hire for Texas. Maybe I was right after all, just not with the right program :-). He sure as heck has been a home run hire for Marquette. If they beat Purdue tomorrow, they'll be #1 when the next poll comes out. Even if they don't, Marquette looks like one darn good team.

Tech barely got by Northern Iowa....they were down much of the game. Not sure what to think of them after NOVA rolled them yesterday. As of now, they look to be a bottom half team in conference.

Iowa State continuing their legacy of struggling on offense.....they are beyond painful to watch at times. Down 14 to VCU late in the 1st.
