Default Big 12 Games--January 4

OU earned a hard-fought win over KSU and oswho got smoked by 35 points in Lubbock (sorry, abd).

Still to come: WVU @ KU at 3pm CT, ISU @ TCU at 5pm and UT @ BU at 7pm.

Today is a setback for OSU's national title hopes. The dream of a perfect season with their best player in the lineup is no more.

WV/KU should be good. But I'm very interested in the ISU/TCU game. I don't think either team is all that good, but haven't seen much of either of them this sesason. I would like gauge which of these teams is a more "winnable" game on the road (or both). ISU is pretty much all Haliburton, but I couldn't tell you more than two guys names on the TCU roster.

WVU up on KU by 9 with 8 minutes to go in the first half.

WVU up, 30-24, at the half in Lawrence.

WVU freshman Oscar Tshiebwe is a load! He's got 15 points and 10 rebounds.

TCU & ISU both walking a lot but have some talent, especially ISU.

The stats on Soonersports shows the attendance was 8,012. Even if that was tickets sold and not actual tickets collected at the door, that is not a bad number.

Haliburton may be ISU's best player in a decade, but I don't know if they have much around him. Both teams look better than K-state....but that ain't saying much.

He’s the best player in the Big12 with 2 decent players with him, the rest aren’t very good.

I’d guess there was 6K. Seemed about half full.

Wow horns only had 39 points with 1:10 left in game...
Baylor had 55 so must have been a “defensive” battle...

57/41 with 1 min left

It hits 3...bu spreading stall...

59/44 final

We really need to win that game in Ames. ISU is down and this is our best opportunity in a long time up there.

Tough watch in Stillwater tonight

Have they had WVU do a road trip like this before? (Sat/Mon)

I saw that yikes! Little brother managed 19 points in the 1st half. I guess they aren’t a basketball school after all, welp, back to the drawing board!

Ugly basketball....

I honestly think OU can hang with both of these teams. WV physical as usual but man neither team looks good.

WVU gave KU a tussle in Lawrence. They went ice-cold in the second half, but they made KU look beatable.

OSU is 1/18 from 3. And WV only has 5 fouls with under 5 to play in the 2nd half.....I'm surprised it's only a 13-point deficit. Oops...check that, WV just hit a three. OSU now down 16.

I hope osu shoots 1-18 from 3 against us, but they’ll probably be 12-18 or something.

OSU is pretty average, but nothing would surprise me in Stillwater. For all I know, they could pull out their "close their eyes and rain in 3s" offense that night.
