Chagrois has me a little concerned as a backup 5. He's not played great defensively, and it's obvious Moser is giving Issanza a chance to see if he can figure it out defensively. When we get in conference play, foul trouble, etc. I think we're going to see some small ball (J Groves or Hill playing the 5) to bridge the gaps when T Groves is out.

I don't think so. Chargois is going to figure it out enough on D to play. His offensive potential is too great. Issanza still looks like a guy that shouldn't be playing OU-level basketball.

I agree about Issanza. Hopeful Chagrois can get it together, because the minutes with T Groves on the bench will probably determine just how good we can be this year.

Chagrois going in the wrong direction. He can’t defend or rebound and is not very tough/physical. He’s going to get eaten up in the big 12. I almost wish moser would play the heck out of issanza in these early games and see if we can get him to come on. He’s got the physical tools

Hill has improved so much. He's so much more athletic than I thought. His competitive rebounding is off the charts. His dribbling ability for his size is great. His ability to take it to the rack and finish is greatly improved. So far he's my MVP for this year. Hope he stays for two more years after this.
