Sooners beat Michigan, advance to second round

Norman — Aaryn Ellenberg scored 28 points Sunday as Oklahoma rolled over Michigan, 88-67, and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
All five of OU’s starters reached double figures as the Sooners’ 88 points was the most scored against the Wolverines this season. Junior Whitney Hand finished with 12 points, 10 rebounds and six assists.
The sixth-seeded Sooners will play third-seeded St. John’s Tuesday at 8:30 p.m at the Lloyd Noble Center, where they are now 8-1 in NCAA Tournament games.
